B-log: 14 months

Another month of many firsts for Bee Boppin Bennett.

1) Just this past week Bennett attended his First Heritage Days in good ole downtown Rogersville, Tennessee!!! He loved it. Loved it so much he refused to nap. Loved it so much he refused to eat anything that did not involve sugar or deep fat fried goodness.

2) Got to meet his great uncle Eddie for the first time!

3) Got to see great uncle Anthony play with the B-Team Blues Band!

4) First night away from both of us - ALL NIGHT LONG! He stayed with GeeGee and Daddy Bill all night while we indulged in some good old fashioned beer pong with the Elmore gang. He was good but a little cranky due to number 5 below.

5) Got his first ear infection. Boooo!
Bennett was a trooper, though. He was in a bad mood w/a fever for a few days but handled it like a champ. Thanks to Susan, he was all better by the end of the week!!

6) First fist bumps. When you've got nearly 4 hours to kill on a plane and the kid has already scratched up your face out of boredom, its time to teach a new trick. Rory taught B how to give fist bumps or "knucks". He's so proud.

This month B has started to copy things you say...and even though they don't sound exactly right, he's close enough! He's said night night, yum, hi, dat, bye bye, Ellen, Nana and has been very close to saying dog. He's practically running everywhere, spinning in circles like a fan, eating anything under the sun, growling (which he probably got from Aunt E's pirate joke about the Rrrrrrrr rated movie - thanks by the way) and hitting when he gets mad. Luckily he has avoided hitting other kids at Cassie Care and only hitting objects or the air. Its hard not to laugh when he does it - but hitting is no joke. Got that, kid??
