lots to blog about

Saturday, Bennett took his FIRST STEP! I can't really believe it. Is he that big already? Lately he's been working on his standing...he's been doing it every day where he'll hang onto something then just let go and stand for awhile...just hang out. So Saturday, Rory was standing him up and when B fell he'd stand him up again, over and over. The last time he did this, I shoved a picture frame in front of B to look at and he took A STEP TOWARDS IT!!!! Then he fell. And almost hit his head. And Rory grabbed him real quick. And this scared him. So he cried. BUT it was all good, cuz this boy's gonna be a track star by the age of 3!!!

That was the big excitement for the weekend. The rest of the time we worked on landscaping the front yard since there were zero plants out there:

Last weekend for Memorial Day Weekend we went to a cabin in the Blackfoot Valley with some friends. It rained ALL weekend, so it was a perfect time to catch up on some board games, music, eating, sleeping, drinking, etc.

The rain let up for a few hours allowing us to go on a quick hike and for Bennett to see his first Grizzly Bear - an 800-pounder in the USFS office!!

I think he liked cabin weekend - despite the fact that we were in Unabomber country!

Is this considered "Parkour"?

B's special talent

No, its not the same "talent" or "gift" that I have....at least I don't think so.

Bennett's special talent is this crazy closed-lip-air-blowing-out-one-side-at-a-time thing. And its fast. I don't know how he does it. We can't replicate it. It must be a baby thing. Or a genius baby thing. Let's stick with the latter.

Here 'tis:

Seriously, its hard. You try it.
